Just you two. That first look—it’s always my favorite. The nerves, the joy, the soft smiles and teary eyes. I hang back, giving you space to be completely yourselves. That’s when the real magic happens. A little later, before anyone else arrives, we step into the gardens—just the two of you—and you exchange private vows under the palms. No microphones. No rush. Just words from the heart, said in golden light. It’s always so tender, so grounding. You’re not performing for anyone. You’re simply being together, and I’m there quietly capturing it all.

And then... East Beach. We time it just right to catch that golden hour light. The sky turns soft and pastel, the waves roll in, and you run barefoot across the sand like you’re the only two people in the world. This is the part of the day where everything softens—the pressure, the nerves. It’s just love, light, and laughter. Pure Santa Barbara magic.


To wrap it all up, maybe you have a quiet dinner, cut your cake, share a toast, or dance in the fading light. And when you’re ready, we pull out the flash and go full goofy-glam—think champagne sprays, silly faces, sparkler shots, dancing in the dark.
